Province of Ontario partners with York Pride to advance 2SLGBTQ+ inclusion, community safety, and tourism across the region. Through annual provincial support, York Pride receives funding for safety planning, tourism promotion, and student employment. These investments help York Pride grow responsibly, deliver a safe and accessible festival, and generate meaningful economic and community impact across York Region.

Since 2020, Upper Canada Mall has led with purpose, supporting the 2SLGBTQ+ community by creating inclusive spaces where people of all ages feel welcome and valued. More than a shopping destination, the mall continues to champion family connection, learning, and community, proving that meaningful relationships can thrive anywhere.

Since 2019, Magna International has partnered with York Pride to power community volunteerism, supporting over 300+ volunteers through employee engagement and local giving. From the Magna Hoedown fundraiser to serving as lead sponsor of the Festival’s volunteer program, Magna continues to invest in people, connection, and community impact.

Upper Canada Mall (UCM) and Hillcrest Mall (HCM) amplify York Pride’s visibility through Cineplex digital advertising, reaching audiences across a region of 1.2 million residents. This high-impact channel connects with an estimated 120,000 2SLGBTQ+ residents across nine cities and towns, along with allies and families. By placing York Pride in shared, high-traffic cinema spaces, UCM and HCM turn awareness into participation and strengthen community connection across York Region.

In partnership with Main Street Realty, York Pride brought colour and visibility to the heart of downtown by transforming Main Street with Pride-themed decals. This initiative empowered local businesses to take part in the celebration, turning the street itself into a shared symbol of welcome, connection, and community pride during the festival.

Each year, York Pride partners with hundreds of local businesses across the region to celebrate Pride Month through visible, meaningful participation. By working together, businesses help amplify 2SLGBTQ+ inclusion, strengthen local economic connections, and build lasting partnerships that support both community pride and regional growth.

Since 2023, York Pride has partnered with UniversalCare to enhance accessibility for festival guests through Riley’s Room support, Pride Parade seating, and main stage accommodations. This collaboration also extended beyond the festival grounds, with York Pride branding featured on five digital screens across York Region, reaching over half a million people and reinforcing the importance of inclusive, accessible community spaces.

In 2025, Metrolinx promoted York Pride through live onboard announcements on the Barrie Line, encouraging riders to attend the festival. The partnership also featured special weekend transit pricing and onsite engagement from multiple Metrolinx teams, providing real-time updates and information to the public while improving access to the celebration.

The Home Depot supports York Pride annually as the official supplier, ensuring our team has the tools and resources needed to sustain year-round outreach and community engagement. Through this ongoing partnership, Home Depot helps power the work behind the scenes, making them a trusted partner and a second home for York Pride.

CUPE 905 serves as a home base for York Pride in Newmarket, supporting the organization’s growth by exploring space for office use and collaboration. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to community-building, stability, and ensuring York Pride has the foundation needed to continue expanding its impact across the region.

Sport Clips Haircuts joined York Pride on the festival grounds with a Pride-focused promotion running throughout the day. By bringing visibility, engagement, and allyship directly to the celebration, Sport Clips helped create a welcoming, energetic presence that connected with guests and reinforced the importance of inclusion in everyday spaces.

Starbucks Canada supports York Pride year-round through ongoing donations of merchandise, coffee, and food for meetings, events, and fundraisers. On festival weekend, Starbucks leads the volunteer breakfast program, ensuring volunteers are well fed, hydrated, and ready to support the celebration from the very start of the day.

Through partnerships with Upper Canada Mall (UCM) and Hillcrest Mall (HCM), York Pride advertises on Cineplex kiosk screens, reaching thousands of people across York Region and expanding awareness beyond the festival grounds.

TD Bank has supported York Pride since 2021, leading digital Pride during the COVID-19 years and continuing to invest in the festival’s growth each year since. In 2025, TD became Presenting Partner, advancing York Pride’s story through shared experiences under the TD Ready Commitment. TD’s support helped create meaningful moments for guests to connect while also funding key infrastructure upgrades, including the SL100 stage line and enhanced festival services, supporting sustainable growth and impact.
