Parking at York Pride 2026

York Pride 2026 takes place at Riverwalk Commons, 200 Doug Duncan Drive, Newmarket. To help make your visit as easy as possible, we've identified more than 1,300 dedicated parking spaces within walking distance of the festival, in addition to GO Transit and municipal parking options throughout downtown Newmarket.

Review the parking locations below before arriving and allow extra time for traffic, road closures, and walking to the festival site.

P3 North Parking Lot (Recommended)

Location: Riverwalk Commons / Doug Duncan Drive

Approximately 400 parking spaces are available in the P3 North Parking Lot adjacent to the festival grounds. This is the closest and largest parking area serving York Pride 2026 and extends from Water Street across Doug Duncan Drive.

56 Charles Street Parking Lot

Location: 56 Charles Street, Newmarket

Courtesy of Southlake Regional Health Centre, approximately 350 free parking spaces are available in this lot.

Please Note: The former parking lot closest to Davis Drive is no longer available due to construction and development.

Southlake Overflow Parking Lot

Location: 22 Simon Street, Newmarket

Courtesy of Southlake Regional Health Centre, approximately 160 free parking spaces are available in this overflow lot.

Access: Enter from the north side of the property near Simon & Son Windows and Doors on Main St North.

Newmarket GO Station Parking

Location: Newmarket GO Station

Free weekend parking is available in the rear parking lots behind the station and Tannery Marketplace.

Please Note: The front commuter parking lot may be subject to paid parking restrictions.

Municipal Parking Lots

Free public parking is also available at:

  • Fairy Lake Park

  • Gorham Pool

  • Old Town Hall

  • Newmarket Public Library

  • Various municipal parking lots throughout downtown Newmarket
